I have lived in the village since 2002 and my two sons attended the school (from reception to the end of Year 6). My youngest son “graduating” to secondary school in 2022. Both have always been well supported by the school, enjoyed the strong friendships that they have made at the school (across year groups) and they have also adjusted quickly and easily to secondary school. I have been a governor at the school since 2014. I am a Chartered Accountant and licenced Insolvency Practitioner and I therefore also sit on the Finance Committee for the school. I believe that the school is a jewel for the village and community. The school provides an excellent, all-round education for our children and, I believe, provides its pupils with courage, resilience and a genuine interest in learning that will serve them well for life.
