I am the Head Teacher at Hose Primary School, having previously worked as Class 1 teacher and also Senior teacher here. Prior to my appointment as Head Teacher I was also a parent and then staff governor. Having had this wide ranging experience of roles has granted me the  invaluable opportunity to see the school from a number of different perspectives and understand how best to support strategic development as a Head Teacher.  

Having worked as a teacher and senior leader for many years I understand how important it is for the community that our small, wonderful village school continues to flourish. Our children deserve the best start in life; Hose Primary School provides them with the opportunity to grow and learn in a supportive and trusting environment. This has certainly been the case for both of my children and regardless of their own strengths and interests, they have been supported to achieve success and given opportunities to shine.
