Choosing a school for your child can be a daunting prospect, particularly if your child is reaching statutory school age and you are applying for a school place for the first time. Our admissions are managed by Leicestershire County Council (LCC) and we follow LCC'S Admissions and Procedures Policy which can be found below.

Children starting school for the first time will usually start on the first term following their 4th birthday. Applications for first time admissions must be made by January of the year in which the child is due to start school. You can find the link to apply for a school place through the Leicestershire Local Authority Admissions Portal below. 

The deadline for applications to Leicestershire School Admissions for a school place in September 2025 is the 15th January 2025. Parents and Carers will then be notified of the outcome of their application in April 2025.
